The standard imaging service provides scan files for the treating dentist. Clinical interpretation and treatment decisions remain with that office.
For best image quality, Planmeca recommends scanning both jaws at once. SL Dental offers a
full CBCT scan for just $49, using
a Ø 12 x 10 cm field of view that captures all teeth.
California State Law Requires that this written order for diagnostic imaging be signed by the
referring dentist.
